Rejection of partcipants

Hi,

I had a study which asked participants to listened to a list of songs, interacted with the system and fill in a post-task survey. However, there were some participants who did not follow the instructions: they did not listen to the songs at all (as we track particants’ behaviors when using the system), but they still fill in the post-task survey. Apparently, they did not follow the instructions and their data is useless to us. In this case, can I reject their repsonses?

Thanks for your help.
Yu

Hey Yu,

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve come across participants who did not do your study properly :frowning:

Yes, you can reject them on these grounds. If you’d like to increase your rejection limit, get in touch with our team
