Publish a new study from draft

I published a new study around 15 minutes ago. However, it is still in my draft and not yet activated. The system also does not allow me to publish it again, as the button for publishing is grey out. I guess it is stuck somewhere between draft and publishing. Can someone help me to fix this?

Thanks!

Hey again!

So sorry that you’ve been having issues like this for several days :frowning:

What’s the study called? I can manually publish it for you

Hi, it is called “Music genre exploration” with the internal name “Music genre exploration 8”.

Thanks!

Ah, the actual problem is that you don’t have enough in your balance to cover the cost of this study unfortunately. While your total balance might say you have enough, your available balance is not enough.

Your total balance is the total amount of money in your account from the top-ups you’ve made, minus any funds spent on participant payments. Your available balance is how much you will after any active studies have been completed. You can read more about this here .

And you can check your different balances here .

Sorry for the confusion! I know it’s not intuitive.

I had scheduled a study and it similarly stuck in drafts. I have enough balance.

Dear Ankit

Welcome to the forum :slightly_smiling_face:

Do you have any other studies that have not yet completed?

Tim

Hi I have a similar problem now and (1) I’m pretty sure that I have enough balance (2) no other active studies are running. I can click on the “publish” button - but no matter how many times I click on it, it won’t work. It gets stuck too.

Dear Liu

Welcome back.

I am sorry I don’t know. Usually-in-the-past the problem with not being able to publish is insufficient funds due to a study being open somewhere. But if you have completed all your studies and still have the funds, I have no idea…

You could try reducing the participants to one or two and seeing if you can start your study in that case. Otherwise I can only recommend support.

I am sorry I can’t help m(._.)m
