I am running a study on Prolific, one of the participants has exceeded the maximum allowed time but the person is still marked as “Active” on my portal. I have messaged this person, asking him/her to return form the study if s/he does not wish to continue. I do not receive a response. So I am stuck here…
I wonder how this is possible (exceeding maximum allowed time but still marked as active) and what I can do to change its status to “timed-out” so I can recruit new participants? Thank you very much for your help.
