I research in the field of cultural psychology, especially the self, super heroes, and tourism. I teach English language, cultural psychology, the cultural psychology of tourism, intercultural communication, and Japanese culture.

Hi, everyone.
I am a social psychologist who does research on goals, motivation, social judgment, and individual differences with my undergraduate research team. We also contribute to large-scale metascience projects, such as with the Psychological Science Accelerator. I am at a primarily undergraduate institution, where I teach social psych, personality psych, research team, and a senior seminar on the credibility revolution in psychology. Hiking is my hobby.
